There are a variety of different formatting options for urls and buddypress uploaded files with relative urls. Buddypress uploaded files can be displayed as:
- file icon with link to the file
- image icon with link to the file
- field name (with option to rename with a ‘nice name’) with link to the file
- filename with link to the file
- as an image with link to the image
- the raw data
